Booties again and this one is from Michael Antonio. The Chaz ankle booties may look high but it’s comfy cause of the cork wedges and I LOVE wedge. The upper is made of animal print fabric and that itself is an eye catcher but the thing that I love most about this shoe (if you look closer) is the cut out detail on the ankles. The black bow kinda puts me off but hey, they’re still interesting.

Don’t turn around yet, these aren’t just any other pair of shoes, these Michael Antonion Garcelle wedge sandal is actually a cross between wedges and booties which is perfect for the beginning of fall. I’d wear these just about anywhere, with just about anything. From short shorts and over sized shirts to skinny jeans and white long sleeved tunics. I’d like to wear these with tights or hose and a dress shirt too. The peep toe design allows your feet to get a little breeze but the closed sides gives you enough warmth from cool autumn winds.

Michael Antonio’s Galena Wedge kinda reminds me of Kate Spade wedges. Maybe it’s the colors? I’ve always loved how Kate Spade brightens up my outfit and I guess it’s what the Galena wedge sandal does to me. It comes in 5 colors: Tan, Fuschia, Yellow, Turquoise and Black. It has approximately 4 1/2 inch heel platforms. I love how the jute covering the black Galena heel is also black. I think it’s just right and would be too much if they did the same for the other colors. They’re so easy in the eyes and much better for the feet. The upper strap is made of soft synthetic leather with an adjustable buckle closure for a more secure fit. At $34.50 to $40 a piece, I think I’d want to get all the colors. LOL.
